Korean Airlines Lounge LAX

This project involves the renovation of the existing KAL Premier Passenger Lounge at the Tom Bradley Terminal at LAX. The scope includes a 14,000sf first-class lounge and an additional 3,864sf lounge on a separate level.
In close coordination with LAWA and LAWA standard design practices, A3 incorporated design for the planned improvements feature upgraded restrooms and showers, a new bar area, and a food and beverage self-service station, all designed to elevate the passenger experience for premium travelers.

This project involves the renovation of the existing KAL Premier Passenger Lounge at the Tom Bradley Terminal at LAX. A3 Engineering delivered MEP design and coordination, translating the program into permit-ready construction documentation. The work was executed within existing conditions constraints, with focused field verification and multidisciplinary coordination to reduce RFIs and rework. The resulting systems strategy balanced performance, code compliance, and lifecycle cost while supporting the architectural intent.
