A Sunset Restaurant

This 8,000sf kitchen and dining area renovation of an existing restaurant was seeking to upgrade the aging MEP utilities and design within the space. A3 Engineering reviewed all of the existing equipment on site making suggestions for reuse/replacement of aged equipment. This pragmatic approach to the renovation aided the owner in making critical financial decisions regarding the projects progress. A3 Engineering provided MEP design for this renovation and the project is awaiting funding to proceed.

This 8,000sf kitchen and dining area renovation of an existing restaurant was seeking to upgrade the aging MEP utilities and design within the space. A3 Engineering delivered Mechanical, Commercial Kitchen design and coordination, translating the program into permit-ready construction documentation. The work was executed within existing conditions constraints, with focused field verification and multidisciplinary coordination to reduce RFIs and rework. The resulting systems strategy balanced performance, code compliance, and lifecycle cost while supporting the architectural intent.

Provided Mechanical engineering design and coordination. Performed existing-conditions verification and coordinated tie-ins to existing infrastructure. Coordinated commercial kitchen ventilation, exhaust, and make-up air requirements.
